DIRECT HIRE : A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Crane Operator in Silver Spring, MD. for an upcoming project. The Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating cranes to move heavy objects, such as equipment and machinery.
The successful candidate will work among tunneling, mining, railway construction sites environments. Pay : $43.42hr + OT Schedule : Mondays - Fridays, some Saturdays Role & Responsibilities : Setting up and operating cranes : Crane operators set up and take down different types of cranes Inspecting cranes : Crane operators inspect cranes before and after use to identify potential maintenance needs Communicating : Crane operators communicate with construction managers and workers to determine work schedules and develop plans for moving equipment Following safety protocols : Crane operators follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including monitoring weather conditions and adjusting operations as needed Maintaining cranes : Crane operators perform minor repairs on cranes and other equipment Keeping records : Crane operators keep records of the materials they've moved Qualifications : Must possess a minimum of 10 years Crane Operator experience Must possess NCCCO certification OSHA30 preferred Picking experience over active railroad tracks (preferred, not essential) Crane operators must also have a combination of technical skills, safety knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment For a faster response, please text "CO" to 904-712-6140.
