Job Position : Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Job Location : STM Plant (not remote role)

Reports To : Human Resources Manager

Job Summary : The Human Resources Business Partner is a lead HR Professional for the HR Team and will support our plant HR function and to the Plant leadership team.

The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal team member support, and driving Human Resources processes and procedures for the plant and work with HR Manager and team as a partner.

The Human Resources Business Partner leads human resources efforts that will provide a team member-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes WinCup’s core Values.

The Human Resources Business Partner will also provide core, common and consistent human resource solutions to the team member population.

Responsible for managing HR functions including, recruitment, new hire on-boarding, employee offboarding, employee relations, HR compliance, HR recordkeeping, audit support, Payroll processes and performance management.

Will oversee company initiatives around AAP, Wellness, Service Awards, Performance Management and will handle all Benefits Administration for the facility.

Must stay abreast of all state and federal employment law changes.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop a core understanding of the business and utilizes information to perform as a Business Partner to all areas of the organization.
  • Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting the human resources functions and working with the Human Resources Manager ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.

Prepare and maintain electronic and paper employee records, assuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Maintain strong confidentiality practices.
  • Partners with Human Resources Manager on employee relations program, exercising good judgment in the management and resolution of basic and complex employee relations issues.
  • Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations. Escalate complex employee relations issues to Human Resources Manager and VP of HR when necessary.
  • Works with HR Manager in coaching and handling disciplinary issues, work-related conflict and performance concerns; assist with the development and delivery of performance improvement plans.
  • Assist with the administration of the performance evaluation program to ensure effectiveness, compliance and equity within the organization.
  • Plan and conduct new team member orientation to foster positive attitudes toward company goals; manage the on-boarding process.
  • Maintain the organizational structure by updating the organizational chart and job requirements and job descriptions for all positions within the Company.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide audit support, as needed.
  • Facilitate the termination process, including completing separation documentation, conducting exit interviews, and coordinating the return of company equipment.
  • Participate in career development planning, discussing career paths with corporate and field line managers, and recommending suitable candidates for promotion.
  • Investigates and advises both management and team members on employee relation issues.
  • Consults with Human Resources Manager and VP of HR on complex or potentially litigious termination decisions.
  • Participates in Corporate employee termination discussions. Coaches the manager in preparations for such discussions.
  • Partners with HR Managers to ensure team collaboration including support of plant productivity.
  • Follows WinCup OPERA Values, safety initiatives, and other related plant standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferred in manufacturing or industrial company environment
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Demonstrated experience in all areas of Human Resources

staffing / retention / onboarding / benefits / payroll / systems / coaching, etc.)

  • Ability to influence without authority, become a trusted partner and build collaborative relationships while handling confidential information
  • Must be approachable, professional and develop strong professional relationships
