Process Documentation Expert Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Process Documentation Expert to join their team.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear and concise documentation that outlines various processes within our organization.
You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and process owners across different departments to gather information, understand workflows, and translate complex procedures into comprehensive documentation.
The ideal candidate should have a strong process documentation background, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities :
- Work closely with SMEs, process owners and stakeholders to understand and document processes across different departments.
- Identify any variations and improvement opportunities in the processes
- Create and maintain detailed process documentation including SIPOC and swimlane process map
- Organize information in a logical and understandable format suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure documentation adheres to company standards and follows best practices for Process Documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and validate documentation accuracy.
- Update and revise documentation as necessary to reflect process changes and improvements.
- Conduct reviews and audits of existing documentation to identify areas for improvement or updates.
- Assist in developing templates, style guides, and other tools to support documentation efforts.
- Participate in meetings and discussions to stay informed about changes in processes and business operations.
Qualifications :
- 5 years experience as a Process Documenter documenting complex processes.
- Strong understanding of Process Documentation principles and methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in using documentation tools and software (e.g., Visio or Lucid Chart).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality documentation.
- Experience working in a cross-functional team environment and managing multiple projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies or project management practices is a plus.
- Experience working in the tech industryand with subscription processes is a plus.
- Lean Yellow Belt training or competency is a plus.
