BIRD ROCK COFFEE ROASTERS CAFE IN BRESSI RANCH / CARLSBAD IS HIRING A NEW KITCHEN STAFF MEMBER!

Requirements / Job Duties : Experience in fast paced service environment, servsafe certified or food handlers card, and a positive attitude.

Menu preparation and execution, daily station setup, COVID-19 cleaning practices and compliance, as well as inventory management are all included in this role.

This is an open kitchen, so customer service and engagement with guests is a job requirement, as there is constant communication with the front of house team.

Experience in cafes or specialty coffee is an advantage, but not a job requirement.

Job Description : Line Cook / kitchen helper to execute a breakfast / lunch menu at a fast paced Specialty Coffee Shop. Responsibilities include menu preparation and execution as well as setting up and maintaining the station.

Menu items are small and designed to be executed in under 4-7 minutes each. Maintain kitchen inventory to assist the store managers and kitchen lead in placing weekly product orders.

Ability to work both solo and well with others is mandatory as the station will be both run solo and with a second line cook at times.

Start Date : Position is available ASAP.

Compensation : $17.00 per hour plus tips. Full or part time hours are available, depending on store sales and season. Kitchen hours are currently 6 : 00a-2 : 30p.
