The Manager, VELYS™ Spine US Marketing will lead the US Downstream marketing efforts to deliver on market readiness activities through unique market channels intended to drive the awareness and adoption of new technologies within the DPS portfolio.
This individual will be responsible for designing and executing the brand launch of Velys™ Spine, creating product awareness, and accelerating category demand for products under the Velys™ Spine umbrella.
The position will report to the Director, VELYS™ Global Marketing.
The primary responsibilities include :
Develop market leading installation protocols, first case support playbooks, and utilization best practices to exceed customer expectations and drive technology stickiness
Create comprehensive, data-backed program launch strategies
Own the hands-on customer experience (demos, labs, tradeshows & launches) & convert interactions into net-new revenue
Align on pipeline development KPIs to ensure targeting efforts and resources are allocated appropriately
Work cross-functionally with the commercial organization to deliver on appropriate pipeline metrics Work with the Velys™ Marketing organization to ensure resources are properly allocated and recommend strategy pivots where needed.
Drive the Velys™ Spine KOL development strategy with a focus on procedural innovation at the US regional level. Support & implement new KOL involvement with traditional DPS education events throughout the US.
Own and develop a comprehensive AMC strategy for Velys™ Spine
Demonstrate strong understanding of clinical and capital adoption pathways with robotics & navigation
Develop troubleshooting strategies and influence the service & repair GTM strategy
Work with local teams to develop area-specific pipeline conversion events
Identify area needs, risks, and strategies that will lead to successful customer experiences and product adoption
Qualifications
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field required. Advanced degree (e.g., M.
B.A. or M.S) is highly preferred
Required Skills & Expertise :
5 years of experience in sales or marketing Medical Device, Robotics, Digital, Capital or Healthcare sectors
Knowledge of the spine market and the ability to continuously adjust to meet customer needs
Proven history in managing enabling technology platforms particularly robotics, navigation, or endoscopes
Ability to excel in customer-facing and / or sales environments
Exceptional attention to detail
Demonstrated capacity for planning, marketing and product development
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience with and understanding of a clinical / surgical environment and workflow
Preferred Skills & Expertise :
Track record of successfully executing clinical training curriculums, product launches, and developing technology adoption strategies
Ability to effectively collaborate with the commercial organization to ensure in-person events exceed customer expectations
Other :
This position will be based out of Raynham, MA. or Palm Beach Gardens, FL. and may require up to 25% travel (international and domestic)
