The Opportunity
Procter & Gamble is seeking an experienced Senior Warehouse Management Systems Engineer to support North America Product Supply.
In this critical role, you will partner with Product Supply Experts to understand how we work at individual manufacturing sites and distribution centers and their specific site to site needs within digital systems.
You will then translate their requirements into a warehouse management system and continuously work to improve and modernize processed for the future.
Position Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Supply Experts to understand current process and needs related to warehouse management operations.
- Author Change Requests in partnership with Product Supply stakeholders for core application and configurations.
- Update and execute configuration of interfaces.
- Write test plans and work with stakeholders to do user acceptance / system integration testing.
- Partner with the Central Change Management Team for vendor support related to core system changes.
- Develop relationships with stakeholders to understand the business value their IT Solutions deliver.
- Continuously look for opportunities to create more efficient processes leveraging automation, new tools, and exploring new development platforms.
- Work hand-in-hand with Operations Engineers to improve flow between Development and Operations to deliver value faster.
The Ideal Candidate
- Has a passion for optimizing and modernizing digital warehouse systems.
- Can work independently and as a team to gather requirements and translate into solutions.
- Is detail-oriented and analytical in nature, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated to work with diverse business scenarios, prioritizing multiple priorities and have a business and consultancy mind-set, while technically (data) savvy.
- Can produce and present technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Strong communication skills including the ability to listen, capture requirements and translate those into business solutions.
Job Qualifications
Required :
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Software Engineering, other STEM field.
- 5+ years of experience in JDA / Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System.
- Proficiency in SQL querying.
- Experience in warehouse operations.
- Experience with automated warehousing control systems operations and interface .
Pay Range : $105k $150k
Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree / credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
