Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis
Position Overview :
The FP&A manager provides financial support by evaluating and identifying key issues and gaps in business performance and delivering analysis that provides foundation for management understanding and action.
The finance manager partners with cross-functional teams, providing financial analytics and the development of complex financial models to support diverse business cases utilized by senior management in decision making.
Primary Job Scope :
The FP&A Manager, is responsible for a range of financial disciplines. Establishes priorities for the direct organization and ensures the timeliness, accuracy, and integrity of all financial information while also performing original work (working manager).
This role is also responsible for coordinating financial activities such as Sales & Operations Planning (forecasting), Annual Budgeting, Long Range Planning and Portfolio Management, while also providing direct financial / budgetary support for the assigned organizations.
Responsibilities :
Financial expertise in evaluating and identifying the key issues and gaps in business performance and emerging business needs, deliver analyses that provide a foundation for management understanding and action.
Develop metrics and reports for monthly review with management to understand and address performance as well as cost and spending drivers.
Provide business decision support as required, including meaningful, value-added profitability analyses for new product concepts, new product launches, promotional programs, instrument placements, major customer, distribution channels, countries, Areas, and / or product lines to influence and counsel management in developing business and pricing strategies.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; CPA or advanced degree preferred
7+ years finance and supervisory experience (FP&A, Cost / General Accounting and Financial Reporting)
Ability to plan, implement and administer financial information and control systems
Knowledge of the principles, processes and standards for integrated financial analysis and reporting
Ability to lead and influence global cross-functional project teams
The base pay for this position is $95,000.00 $(phone number removed). In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
