Sr Scientist LC/MS Large-Small Molecules

Position Summary : 2 positions multiple location

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scientist specializing in Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LC / MS) to join our biopharmaceutical team.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in analytical chemistry, particularly in LC / MS, and will be responsible for leading and conducting complex research projects aimed at the development and characterization of biopharmaceutical products.

This role requires a collaborative mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to scientific excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead Analytical Projects : Design, implement, and lead advanced LC / MS-based analytical projects to support biopharmaceutical product development and characterization.
• Method Development and Validation : Develop, optimize, and validate LC / MS methods for the analysis of complex biological samples, including proteins, peptides, and small molecules.
• Data Analysis and Interpretation : Perform comprehensive data analysis and interpretation, providing insights and recommendations to guide project decisions and ensure high-quality results.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality control, and regulatory affairs, to ensure alignment and integration of analytical strategies.
• Technical Leadership : Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior scientists and laboratory staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative research environment.
• Documentation and Reporting : Prepare detailed scientific reports, protocols, and publications, and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all laboratory activities comply with relevant regulatory guidelines and industry standards, including GLP / GMP practices.
• Continuous Improvement : Stay current with advancements in LC / MS technology and methodologies, integrating new approaches to enhance laboratory capabilities and efficiency.

Qualifications :

• Education : Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field. Post-doctoral experience is highly desirable.
• Experience : A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in LC / MS analysis within the biopharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Technical Expertise : Extensive hands-on experience with LC / MS systems (e.g., Q-TOF, Orbitrap), including method development, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Analytical Skills : Strong background in the analysis of biological macromolecules (proteins, peptides) and complex biological matrices.
• Software Proficiency : Proficiency with analytical software and data analysis tools (e.g., MassLynx, Xcalibur, Skyline).
• Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex scientific data to diverse audiences.
• Problem-solving : Demonstrated ability to independently solve complex scientific problems and drive innovative solutions.
• Teamwork : Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
