Halff has an immediate opening for a Senior Civil Structural Designer to join our Civil / Transportation Engineering group in Oklahoma City, OK.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who has specific experience with Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT), Oklahoma Turnpike Authority (OTA) and City of Oklahoma City transportation and utility design and a broad background in civil engineering design.

Senior Civil Structural Designer Responsibilities :

• Assist in the planning and design of transportation projects and a variety of civil engineering projects for both private and public sector clients
• Work as part of a design team under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer (P.E.)
• Oversight of CAD Operators, Technicians and Interns performing design and production work using CAD standards and procedures to create an effective team

Senior Civil Structural Designer Qualifications :

• At least 10 to 15 years of experience as a Civil Engineering Designer
• Experience in MicroStation and current roadway design software in the MicroStation Environment is required.
• Ability to work independently as a self-motivator and as part of a team
• Knowledge of AutoCAD / Civil 3D in addition to MicroStation adds value
• Solid relationship and team building skills
