Arcadis is looking for a highly motivated entry-level Protection and Control Engineer to join the Power Delivery team. Positions are available in Minneapolis, MN;
Highlands Ranch, CO; and Dallas or Houston, TX.

As part of the Power Delivery team, you will help improve quality of life.
Role accountabilities :
The position involves coordinating the power delivery protection and control engineering team and performing hands-on engineering, detailed design, and studies for utility clients in North America.
The successful candidate will also work closely with senior and / or lead protection and control engineers within the Power Delivery group.
- Support developing and delivering relay and protection & control package for transmission and distribution substation projects from 12kV to kV with quality, schedule, and safe design in mind.
- Work under direct mentorship of Sr. and / or Lead engineer and design preparing protection relay and control package including but not limited to - Protective Single Lines, Schemes, Substation Three Lines, DC Schematics, Relay & Control Panel Layouts, Control and Panel Wiring Diagram, Cable Raceway Schedule, SCADA and Communication Diagrams
- Contribute preparing and developing Engineering Calculations, Equipment Specification, BOM, Bid evaluation and proposal support
- Maintain close coordination and help other relevant Arcadis Business Units and Practices for cross selling and cross staffing opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience :
Required Qualifications
A Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
- 0-1 year of Substation engineering and design experience; US Power electric utility is a plus
- Proficient in AutoCAD or MicroStation; Able to execute and delivery projects under supervision of Sr. and / or Lead engineer
- Knowledge of applicable industry standards including the National Electric Code (NEC), National Electric Safety Code (NESC), and IEEE.
