An automotive component manufacturer with multiple sites in the UK and the West Midlands require a Manufacturing Engineer to provide manufacturing engineering support to current production lines.
The ideal candidate will have automotive manufacturing experience working with exterior or interior trim products.

Salary : £48,000 - £55,000 p.a.

The Role
Reporting into the Operations Manager you will have the following duties :
- Plan and implement new products and changes to the manufacturing processes.
- Manage suppliers.
- Manage project and timing of complex assembly systems.
- Support the quality department in close out of customer concerns through 8D.
- Complete PFMEA's, process flows and standard operating instructions.
- Generate layout and process flows.
The Person
Educated to degree level in a manufacturing discipline or holding significant experience in first tier automotive, you will have the following experience :
- Knowledge of vacuum forming.
- Knowledge of adhesive systems, selection and processing.
- Exposure to manufacturing lines highly reliant on complex IT systems.
- Experience in a just in time (JIT) environment.
