DISTRIBUTION LEAD - INVENTORY

We are currently looking to fill the position of Distribution Lead with a starting range of $20.

67-28.85 / hour, dependent upon experience, education, and skills. This position requires a full-time onsite presence.

The Distribution Lead is responsible for performing and overseeing duties related to the receipt, storage, and shipment of product, including stock control, cleaning of surgical equipment, picking product, and packing boxes.

The Lead will also be responsible for flow of product through the warehouse to a variety of internal and external customers while ensuring that processes are being properly followed.

This position provides day to day direction to employees on the team but is not responsible for performance management.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicates updates and project developments to department leadership on a routine basis.
• Ensures the day to day priorities of the Distribution Center are met and the team is working cohesively and efficiently.
• May be responsible for training and ongoing development of Distribution personnel.
• Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records such as material inventory, in process production reports, and status of material locations.
• Tracks daily performance of team members.
• Applies extensive knowledge and company policies to complete a wide range of assignments
• Makes recommendation for new or revised processes and has a role on the implementation
• Works with minimal degree of supervision. Has latitude to make decisions in exceptional circumstances within established guidelines
• Prepares reports such as inventory balance and takes necessary actions to reconcile discrepancies in a timely manner
• Investigates inventory inaccuracies
• Prepares all necessary shipping documentation and ensure that shipments are tracked to destination.
• Packages materials and equipment ensuring that shipping documentation is accurate, and materials are protected adequately for shipment.
• Initiates investigations the root cause of errors as they arise
• Assists in the development of processes and procedures for inventory, receiving, shipping, and administrative responsibilities resulting in cost and efficiency improvements.
• Performs duties in compliance with applicable FDA and state regulations as well as standards including, but not limited to, ISO 13485.
• Ensures their teams assigned work area is neat, clean, and organized daily.
• Other duties as assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with individuals internal and occasionally external to the organization.

The employee frequently is required to move about the facility. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as : viewing a computer terminal;

visual inspection involving small defects, small parts. The employee may be required to lift / move up-to 50 lbs. by themselves.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with distribution business hours. It may reasonably require additional hours during the week and weekend;

specific requirements will be determined with Manager.

No travel required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 2 year's related experience
• Must have at least 6 months prior experience in the P28 Distribution Center
• Aptitude for analyzing situations and resolving problems
• Must have strong written, verbal, and listening skills with customer service ethic
• Ability to multi-task and handle a high-volume workload daily with attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Proven ability to influence others and lead teams
• Self-motivated with the ability to achieve desired results with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
• Proficient and accurate with Microsoft office; experience in Microsoft Teams helpful
• Experience with SAP preferred.
