Requirements :

• Maryland cosmetology and / or barbering license.
• Minimum 1 years of industry experience.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Strong proficiency in precision haircuts, barbering / clipper cuts, and color application / theory.

• Proficient in all-around styling duties including cutting, styling, and coloring.
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques.
• Knowledgeable about day-to-day salon operations.
• Personable, enthusiastic, and customer-focused.

• Polished, pleasant, and polite demeanor.
• Ability to provide timely services to clients.

Responsibilities :

• Welcome and engage with clients, actively listening to their needs.
• Provide professional hairdressing services using precision and skill.
• Advise clients on home hair care and recommend suitable hairstyles.
• Perform a variety of treatments including conditioning, bleaching, tinting, and straightening.
• Upsell salon products and services to meet sales targets.
• Educate clients on salon products for improved satisfaction.
• Promote salon services and encourage client loyalty.
• Maintain health and safety standards including sanitation and sterilization.
• Utilize technology for scheduling, payment processing, and client communication.

Additional Skills (Preferred but not necessary) :

Waxing, manicures, pedicures, eyelash extensions, eyebrow threading.
