The Financial Crimes organization is seeking a seasoned program manager to join and lead its operational optimization book of work.
The Project Lead role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including building and driving a portfolio of activities that enable the organizational goals of process simplification, enhanced controls, and frictionless experiences for both customers and partners interacting with FC Operations.
The selected candidate will be tasked with developing solutions and driving initiatives to successful implementation such that the organization achieves its strategic goals, centered around operational excellence.
Qualified candidates will have a comprehensive understanding of the scope of operations, compliance, technology and business functions and how they interact in order to achieve business and regulatory objectives.
Excellent leadership and communication skills required in order to negotiate and influence internally and across functions, often at a senior level.
The role provides a unique perspective across operations, business and compliance, and the ability to gain broad exposure by identifying and addressing high impact initiatives and issues across FC Operations.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with FC Operations leadership team and partners to further develop and prioritize its ongoing optimization book of work
- Provide guidance on prioritization and next action on critical activities being managed across the project team
- Provide thought leadership on reengineering, process and communication simplification, with the goal of continuous improvement and optimization
- Partner with key Operations team members to ensure initiatives owned across the function are successfully tracking to deliverables, timeliness and expected outcomes
- Accountable for overall program management, including leading regular communications to leadership on progress, risks and mitigates
Qualifications :
- 10+ years of experience across multiple disciplines, including Operations, Program Management, Process Development and Reengineering, Relationship Management, and Control & Risk Operations
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to partner and influence cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization without direct managerial authority
- Requires strong understanding of the expectations of the Personal Banking and Global Wealth businesses in meeting risk and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in organizational and / or process redesign, with LEAN and / or Design Thinking experience or certification a plus
- Team player that demonstrates and promotes a positive team culture
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Advanced MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel skills
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Communications or equivalent experience, Master’s degree a plus
