Assembly Technician

Actalent is hiring an Electronic Assembly Technician that has experience with electro-mechanical assembly in a clean room environment.

Must have experience with PCB or small electronic component assembly to be considered. This shift is from 9 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM.

• Assemble precision electromechanical parts by following diagrams and specifications using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments in a prototype engineering environment
• Assemble cables, and electrical connectors, into complex assemblies
• Operate in a clean environment to assemble optical-electrical and opto-mechanical assemblies
• Operate the testing equipment and document test results using templates and SOPs
• Repairs, reworks assemblies to meet operation tolerance and quality
• Verifies dimensions and clearances of components and parts to ensure conformance to specifications, using instruments such as micromenters, calipers, height gauges, and test equipment
• Create parts kits and record tracking data such as serial numbers, part numbers, etc. to feed the assembly flow
• Assist in inventory management by organizing the parts and enabling storage of components, subassemblies and finishes goods
• Accurately follows all applicable manufacturing documentation in the assembly and testing of product
