We truly enjoy the process of working together to find the best approach for each project. We have an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Electrical Engineer to work with our team of Electrical Engineers and Electrical Designers supporting Electrical design and engineering.

You will be exposed to and learn about receptacle, lighting, power, security, and telecommunications systems through developing plan layouts, details, and one-line diagrams.

Your education will be based on developing calculations, specification writing, cost estimating, coordination with other consultants and team members, and client interaction.

This position involves working on several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work along with our Senior Engineers providing meaningful input on built environment projects, and we will mentor you each step of the way to ensure you are set up for success.

You will be a valued member of our team from your first day and you will work on real projects right from the beginning.

Our clientele includes federal, state, and city agencies, colleges and universities, manufacturing and healthcare. We employ over 130 people, of which 55 are graduate engineers with 12 of those registered Engineer Interns and 37 registered Professional Engineers.

This high ratio of engineers allows B&P to take on some of the most technically challenging projects which provides excellent mentorship / training opportunities to engineering interns.

We look for the following qualifications : Four year college degree from an accredited engineering program 0-3 Years of Experience Fundamentals of Engineering certification is a plus Communicates well verbally, in writing, and graphically, with other engineers, clients, and code authorities Strong personal ambition and work ethic Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and other production related software is a plus.
