Support Center - IrvingThe B2B Sales Specialist works with the B2B Sales Team to provide customer support as well as cross-functional collaboration for marketing, content, and visual merchandising on the B2B site.
The position will generate quotes, enter orders, and interact with customers. They will work with the B2B Sales Team, Tech Team, and Marketing Teams to devise innovative marketing, content, and visual merchandising on the B2B site.
Major Activities
Sales Administrative Support
- Maintain customer purchase orders on the B2B website
- Create and calculate quotes for customers upon request for information on the B2B and Michaels website
- Develop and deploy customer communications and propose process improvement for returns and credits
- Partner with Customer Care Team and AR team to resolve escalated customer queries
Account Management
- Responsible for customer account setup information, including loading forms and troubleshooting issues
- Partner with Sales Team to implement customer engagement activities and recommend methods to increase engagement
Visual Merchandising Support
- Develop working relationships with CM team (buyers) responsible for assigned categories. Ensure close partnership, open dialogue, and consistent communication
- Coordinate with Category Management teams to ensure all required details are captured for each set including AP tracking, top new item review, etc.
- Develop and maintain landing pages that support or solve for category-specific needs, including Private Brand and packaging support, QR codes used in signage, product guides, etc.
- Develop and maintain site taxonomy, item attributes, and filters for assigned categories
Marketing Support
- Update and edit homepage, landing pages and emails to ensure correct products and offers are featured
- Recommend innovative marketing methods for homepage
- Ensure marketing placement in appropriate emails and opportunities in the overall marketing calendar
- Determine key items and images to update landing pages including Michaels and B2B Sites
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Special Certifications or Technical Skills
- Intermediate understanding of data analysis tools and eCommerce platforms
- Experience with eCommerce platforms and merchandising tactics
Minimum Type of Experience the Job Requires
2-4 years of progressively responsible experience in merchandising, digital merchandising, or eCommerce
Other
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
