Responsibilities and Duties :
The qualified candidate will be exposed and work on a wide range of skills, network systems & support including but not limited to Servers / Network Administration (Server, routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi, VoIP), VoIP phone system implementation, and administration.
Other duties include : hardware and software support, desktop repairs, new system setup / deployment and on-site visits.
The candidate will also provide on-site, remote, phone support for the IT infrastructure and users.
- Microsoft Windows Servers / Desktops, VMware Virtualization
- Manage network security e.g., firewall (SonicWALL), anti-virus and intrusion detection systems.
- Identify, troubleshoot, solve and document network connectivity and performance issues.
- Install, Configure, Manage and support Server Infrastructure (Both Physical and Virtual (VMWare / Microsoft) Servers, Firewall, Switches, WI-FI, IP Telephony and more.
- Monitor network performance and optimize the network for optimal speed and availability.
- Deploy, configure and upgrade user applications such as MS Office, email configuration, migration / support Office 365.
- Review / Implement and maintain backups of servers & devices.
- Open to learn new technologies.
Requirements :
- Aptitude to get trained in technologies and / or familiarity with Windows Servers, SonicWall / Firewall, VLAN, Office 365, Virtualization, IP Telephony specifically 3CX.
- Experience in configuring, deploying, troubleshooting Server, Desktop & Networks Related Issues.
- Require excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Must be a self-starter, quick learner, well organized, and detail-oriented.
- College level coursework in Computer Science, Information Technology or strongly related major
- 0-2 years support of Servers / Network Administration
- 0-2 years support of desktop and laptop Computers
- 0-2 years supporting VoIP and Phone system
