Job Summary
What’s the job?
Supervise and maintain operations of production lines in a large and dynamic atmosphere. The supervisor is the primary communicator between production line personnel and management.
Always support a safe working environment in area of responsibility. Correct or report unsafe acts or conditions through appropriate channels of resolution.
Duties include :
- Fostering an environment where safety and quality are of primary importance
- Directing shift personnel in the manufacturing, packaging, and material handling of product
- Promote an atmosphere of continuous improvement by observing and measuring personnel for effectiveness and addressing opportunities with definite action items to eliminate deficiencies
- Train and motivate personnel
- Keep proper production, attendance, and training records

- Education high school diploma required; a college degree preferred.
- Mechanical and problem-solving aptitude
- Two or more years in a leadership capacity or a well-rounded understanding of the extrusion manufacturing process
- Ability to prioritize, lead, make decisions, and communicate both verbally and written.
