Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to provide legal counsel and representation on wage and hour issues.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis of wage and hour statutes, regulations, and case law.
- Draft and review essential legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
- Aid in the preparation for administrative proceedings, arbitrations, and court hearings related to wage and hour disputes.
- Participate in client meetings, depositions, and witness interviews.
- Organize and maintain comprehensive case files and documentation.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in wage and hour laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar of California is required.
- Two to four years of legal practice, preferably with a focus on wage and hour matters.
- Class action experience and PAGA experience required.
- Familiarity with California wage and hour laws and regulations is a plus.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
- Proficient in legal research tools and software.
