Assistant Commercial Property Manager (Bilingual)

Are you a motivated and bilingual professional with experience in commercial property management? Join our dynamic team and contribute to the management of commercial properties in the downtown area, primarily focused on retail and spaces.

This is an exciting opportunity with a leader in real estate investment and property management.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist the Commercial Property Manager with daily operations of assigned commercial retail properties.
  • Oversee maintenance, repairs, and renovations of retail units, ensuring quality standards and tenant requirements are met.
  • Communicate with tenants to address inquiries, resolve concerns, and manage lease-related matters.
  • Collaborate with leasing agents to market available spaces, conduct tours, and negotiate lease agreements with prospective tenants.
  • Perform regular property inspections, identifying maintenance needs and ensuring compliance with lease agreements.
  • Assist with financial management, including rent collection, expense tracking, and budget preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and safety standards relevant to commercial property management.
  • Provide administrative support, maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
  • Act as a liaison between property management, tenants, vendors, and stakeholders to facilitate communication and issue resolution.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices to make recommendations.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in commercial property management, with a focus on retail properties.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of commercial leasing principles, lease negotiations, and tenant relations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
