Housr is a dynamic and rapidly growing startup on a mission to revolutionise student housing and we're looking for an experienced Content & Community Manager to help us on the next stage of our journey.

We were formed after our co-founders - Harry and Ben - experienced the pain-points of renting a house while at college, and knew that there had to be a better way.

It's an exciting time to join - off the back of the success of our UK company ( Housr .com has established itself in the USA.

With plans to expand to over 20 colleges in the next 18 months we are on an extremely high growth curve

What you'll do

  • You'll be responsible for creating and executing Housr’s community strategy, aligning content with business objectives and individual channel strategies.
  • You'll create engaging content that appeals to our audience through written content, graphic design, and video.
  • Establish partnerships with influencers and brands to increase our reach.
  • You'll develop a regular content schedule and support campaigns to boost brand awareness and engagement.
  • Track content effectiveness through metrics, monitor performance, and regularly report on how content supports business goals.
  • Stay updated with latest social trends to enhance our community-building efforts.
  • Apart from handling content, you'll also assist with Housr events and general marketing.

What we're looking for

  • You have 3+ years of experience in content creation and community management.
  • You've developed and implemented playbooks, including on social channels, email campaigns, and blogs.
  • A proven track record of building communities and promoting dialogue.
  • You can produce engaging photos and videos, with proficiency in design and editing software.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Open to new projects, can juggle multiple tasks, and are comfortable presenting on camera occasionally.
  • You understand data and have used analytics to measure initiative success.
  • Self-driven, can work independently, and take ownership of projects.
