Job Responsibilities :

In this position you will process insurance policies. Strong computer skills and prior customer service skills are required.

  • Process new and renewal policies, including policies downloaded from the carrier once reviewed by Account Manager
  • Processes endorsements, audits, cancellations, etc. including checking for accuracy, billing, and preparing correspondence to insured and / or carrier as needed
  • Creates emails to notify Account Managers / CSA’s to follow up on reported policy and account discrepancies; emails include all relevant documentation.
  • Processes all mail in a timely manner ensuring that appropriate activities are closed
  • Pulls renewal policies for Account Managers and place in monthly renewal folder
  • Attends Team meetings and continuing educational classes
  • Sets priorities, organizes and manages work flow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities
  • Maintains a professional and effective relationship with co-workers, and other business contacts
  • Keeps informed regarding industry information, new product information and continuously improves knowledge and performance
  • Interacts with others effectively by utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals
  • Fulfills other duties as assigned

Job Requirements :

  • Excellent communication skills; verbally and written.
  • Detail oriented and able to maintain compliance standards.
  • Must be dependable, provide timely response, and complete work activities.
