Pay : $200,000 - $250,000 Salary / Plus Benefits
Schedule : 2x2 7 x 12 Hour Weeks (84 Hours)

What You Will Do :
As the Commissioning & Start-up Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the commissioning and start-up activities of our state-of-the-art renewable fuel production facility.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the successful transition from construction to full-scale operation, focusing on safety, efficiency, and optimal performance.
This is a rotation schedule which will involve 12 Hour Days, 7 Days a Week For a 2 week period . Housing and food will be provided while on site by UOSS.
Additional Information :
Flights from Anchorage to the slope are paid for by the company.
Flights from the lower 48 to Anchorage are the responsibility of the EMPLOYEE.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Understand the project schedule and key milestones for assigned projects in order to provide technical assistance at appropriate time.
- Inspection & Testing
- General Contractor (GC)
- Planning & Coordination : Review, approve and oversee the execution of CSU Contractor's commissioning plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Guide the development of the process and controls design premises to ensure safety in design, operability and inclusion of commonality and synergies of existing facilities modifications and new facilities and associated modifications
- Oversee General Contractor's Mechanical Completion (MC) activities to verify GC's OSBL scope of work is installed in accordance with approved design documents.
- Additionally, oversee GC's Pre-Commissioning activities, including review and approval of GC's Pre-Con activities.
- Frame specifications and criteria deviations and seek TA approval on behalf of the project
- Accept engineering deliverables
- Review engineering drawings and relevant calculations, models and documents prepared by the engineering contractor.
- Work collaboratively with other disciplines to ensure inter-discipline coherence and experience transfer.
- Participate in the project risk management process
- Lead the Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Facility Siting studies
- Review PSM & Management of Change documentation
- Coordinate communication with Operations regarding process issues.
- Provide engineering input to procurement process
- Participate in relevant Factory Acceptance tests (FAT)
Qualifications :
- 10+ years of proven experience in project management, and commissioning and start-up management within the renewable energy or similar industry
- Professional Engineer License in Alaska (preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of renewable fuel production processes and associated equipment.
- Understanding of operational and maintenance requirements of upstream oil and gas processing facilities.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills
- In depth knowledge of LOPA and PHA methodologies.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiar with multiphase flow characteristics.
