As an Elevator Attendant, you are responsible for monitoring and controlling guest entrances, ensuring safe and accurate elevator passage for guests in our outlets, and managing undesirable behavior in order to deliver a safe Guest and teammate experience.

You will also be required to lead a team, communicate, coordinate and work well with other teammates, managers and guests.

Most of all, we want you to have FUN since you will play a huge role in creating that memorable guest experience!

What exactly you will be doing...

In helping you understand your role in working for a world-class organization, the following is a list of your essential job responsibilities.

Please keep in mind that this list is not all-inclusive and that you may be asked to perform other job tasks by your manager not listed below in the constant quest to provide an out of this world customer service experience for our guests :

  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Greet and assist hotel guests with their elevator needs, including providing information about the hotel and its amenities
  • Operate and monitor the elevator system, ensuring it functions smoothly and safely
  • Maintain a clean and organized elevator area, adhering to hygiene and safety standards. Perform routine checks and minor cleaning as needed
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to the elevator or guest experience promptly and professionally.
  • Follow established safety protocols in emergency situations, including assisting guests with evacuation if necessary.
  • Work closely with the Food and Beverage and Junction teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination regarding guest needs and requests.
  • Coordinate entrances for events with the Conference and Banqueting teams

  • Communicate clearly in verbal and written English

  • Maintain confidentiality of all guests and hotel information
  • Maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per hotel standards
  • Adhere to hotel policies, including but not limited to attendance, safety, behavior

Background must-have :

  • Current, legal and unrestricted ability to work in the USA.
  • Previous experience in hospitality preferred.
  • Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests, management / co-workers, both in person and on the telephone.
