We are searching for a motivated and customer-focused individual with strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills for our Justice Court Clerk 1 role in Clackamas County Justice Court.
If selected for this position, you will focus on responsibilities associated with the case processing and adjudication of criminal / traffic / violations heard through the Justice Court pursuant to the violations’ bureau order.
Additionally, you will be involved in performing limited and routine violation trial tasks, civil case tasks and finance processes.
Required Minimum Qualifications / Transferrable Skills : *
- A minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience providing clerical support, including data entry, reception and document processing
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience providing customer service over the phone and in person
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience entering and retrieving data
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience working with sensitive and confidential information
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience working with Microsoft Word
Preferred Special Qualifications / Transferrable Skills : *
- At least one (1) year of experience working with sensitive and confidential information
- Law Enforcement Data Systems (LEDS) Certification
- Experience using Oregon eCourt Case Information (OECI), ClassWeb systems and / or Court-specific software, such as Tyler Incode or other court software
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Pre-employment Requirements :
- Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test
- Must pass a criminal history check, which may include national or state fingerprint records check
Post-employment Requirements :
- Within thirty (30) days of hire , possession of Law Enforcement Data System (LEDS) certification

WORK SCHEDULE
This position works 40 hours during a standard workweek of Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM. Specific hours of work will be discussed with the candidate selected for this position at the time an offer of employment is extended.
