SGS, LLC is a General Contractor / Design-Builder with an immediate opening for a Project Manager for commercial construction projects for both government and non-government clients.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation
• Supervise and manage onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, government officials, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors, clients, owner, etc. as necessary
• Maintain high standards of workmanship
• Allocate resources for assigned projects

Qualifications :

• Experience on commercial construction projects (minimum 2 years)
• Experience on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects preferred
• Degree in Construction Management / Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Ability to develop and update project schedules using Primavera scheduling software preferred
• Ability to favorably negotiate contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders
• Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
• Familiarity with RMS software preferred
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines
• Detail-Oriented, Creative Thinker; Problem Solver; Solution Developer
