SGS, LLC is a General Contractor / Design-Builder with an immediate opening for a Project Manager for commercial construction projects for both government and non-government clients.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation
- Supervise and manage onsite personnel and subcontractors
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, government officials, city and county officials, and clients
- Negotiate with contractors, clients, owner, etc. as necessary
- Maintain high standards of workmanship
- Allocate resources for assigned projects
Qualifications :
- Experience on commercial construction projects (minimum 2 years)
- Experience on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects preferred
- Degree in Construction Management / Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Ability to develop and update project schedules using Primavera scheduling software preferred
- Ability to favorably negotiate contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Familiarity with RMS software preferred
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines
- Detail-Oriented, Creative Thinker; Problem Solver; Solution Developer
