Securitas Security Services is seeking a full-time Lead Officer to work at a client site located in Marlborough, MA.

Applicants must have strong background in both management and security, with great interpersonal, computer, and customer service skills.

Actively seeking candidates with prior military / law enforcement background

Role Description :

The Lead Officer acts as liaison between Personnel and the client to ensure day-to-day compliance with the requirements of the security service contract.

The Lead Officer maintains operational control of security services provided to the Client, ensuring compliance with all Securitas Security standard of cost control, profitability, and quality performance.

The Lead Officer will assist with training, scheduling, and disciplinary procedures at the site, with the assistance and direction of branch management.

Duties Include :

  • Supervise the day-to-day security operations at the client site
  • Assist with filling open shifts, or arranging for coverage with assistance of branch management
  • Supervise all required client site and Securitas site training
  • Review daily logs, incident reports, and concerns
  • Review assignments and check the work of security personnel with direction of branch management
  • Ensure that all posts are adequately staffed at all times
  • Effectively communicate concerns in a timely and efficient manner
  • Responsible for scheduling, while adhering to company policy and guidelines
  • Assist with investigations or special projects as directed by Branch Human Resources and management
  • Provide officers with advance notice of probationary, annual, and other evaluations to ensure their timely submission
  • Review and distribute policies and procedures updates, BOLOs, and revisions to each post as needed
  • Review, distribute, and update training - follow through with the other supervisors to ensure the work is being passed in for completion
  • Assist with any unscheduled projects, security support, or other incidents that need attention during each business day

Requirements :

  • 5 years of security experience, with management and / or operations background
  • High school diploma, GED, equivalent minimum, advanced degree in related field preferred
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Second interview required
  • Computer Skill - Intermediate / advanced
