Sr Infrastructure Engineer - Tulsa/Owasso

Job Description

SUMMARY

Leverage both existing and proposed on-premise infrastructure services and cloud applications that improve the IT experience for the CED business unit.

Provide high impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our IT operations, and an ongoing impact on our overall growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following :

• Defines and documents best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
• Provides guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to the team to build infrastructure competencies in all applications to support CED.
• Deploys and configures technologies and corresponding software for cloud and on-premise environments.
• Implements technology policies, and procedures for disaster recovery and archives to ensure effective protection and integrity of storage appliances and stored data assets.
• Establishes appropriate end-user access control levels for stored data.
• Performs tasks necessary to fulfill service level agreements with end-users regarding security, and availability.
• Reviews and deploys system releases and vendor-supplied patches according to best practices.
• Follows change control, incident response, and testing processes for modifications to the CED business unit IT environment.
• Anticipates, mitigates, identifies, responds to, and resolves issues with cloud, storage access, and data retrieval.
• Researches and makes recommendations on cloud products, services, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
• Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes, and service records.
• Monitors, analyzes, and predicts trends for infrastructure performance, space allocation, and data growth to recommend enhancements to the CED IT team.
• Maintains systems support and architecture documentation.
• Works off hours to provide support.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY / MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

Manage multiple projects without having direct supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology or other related field and ten (10) years working with network / security concepts as well as system performance configuration, eight (8) years of Microsoft 365 experience in a professional environment including but not limited to O365, SharePoint, MS Teams, Exchange, Entra, Intune, three (3) years of experience administering a mixed OS environment, including macOS, Windows, and Linux, two (2) years of experience administering storage arrays including, NAS and SAN or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Advanced knowledge of O365 administration.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure Cloud Services, which includes Transition, Migration, Architecture, Support and Rollout.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud virtualization platforms like Windows Azure and Amazon Web services platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access Identity Management including Azure AD, ADFS and SSO.
• Advanced knowledge of Jamf.
• Advanced knowledge of macOS
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere editing software, Adobe Creative Cloud
• Excellent, hands-on technical knowledge of network components such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of EditShare.
• Ability to create advanced scripts, including PowerShell, shell scripts.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and provide solutions for technical issues demonstrating strong problem-solving and technical skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and have proven experience in organizing, planning, scheduling and be able to execute high profile projects.
• Ability to work successfully in an environment with minimal direction.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks when under extreme pressure.
• Ability to handle changing work priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work across lines, both within IT and outside IT; approachable and willing to receive input and constructive feedback.
• Ability to proactively tackle issues and keep work moving.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office setting.
