We are in search of a Software Developer to join our client's team. This role involves contributing to their core code base, working on task-specific modules for application systems, and improving existing systems.
You will also be expected to collaborate with team members to improve development velocity.
Responsibilities :
- Contribute to the development of core code base.
- Code, test, debug, and document new and modified task-specific modules for application systems.
- Participate in daily standups and ad-hoc team meetings to ensure smooth operation.
- Work on the improvement of existing systems by identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Collaborate with team members to improve and increase development velocity.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of latest web technologies and make recommendations to more effectively use IT resources and improve application workflow.
- Offer innovative, creative ideas that add value to company's technical offering.
- Participate in future application design specifications and provide input on scope of work meetings.
- Experience with PHP and Laravel is required.
- Knowledge of Javascript and jQuery is necessary.
- Familiarity with API Development is essential.
- Must have experience with SQL or MySQL.
- Understanding of Object Oriented Programming is required.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus.
- Must have knowledge of Linux.
- Candidates should have a strong problem-solving ability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Must have the ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
- Candidates need to have a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines is necessary.
- Knowledge of current industry trends and advancements is a plus.
