Summary / Objective :
The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at all business locations. The Human Resource Coordinator completes clerical duties for an organization’s human resources department, assists with guiding employees through various human resource processes, answering any questions about policies, plans, and administers plans and information in accordance with company policy, and federal and state regulations.
The Human Resource Coordinator provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.
Responsibilities :
- Completes all personal change forms in ADP.
- Completes all Transfers in ADP.
- Completes all unused deductions in ADP.
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Preps new-employee files and processes employee terminations.
- Schedules meetings, interviews, and HR events as requested by the HR Manager.
- Makes photocopies; emails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
- Completes all child support and medical garnishment claims.
- Files documents into appropriate employee files.
- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested and processes mail.
- Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
- Maintains HR Data reports.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3-5 years of HR related experience is required.
- ADP Workforce Now experience required.
- Must be able to perform VLookups and generate Pivot tables in Excel.
- Working knowledge of email, routine database activity, word processing, and spreadsheets.
- Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements :
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
