We are currently hiring an Auction Development Director in Dallas, TX. The Director will generate revenue for our Gala fundraising campaign.
This campaign includes our Côtes du Coeur, premiere fine wine and food event.
This is an office-based position that offers a hybrid schedule. The office is in Irving, TX.
We have a fast-paced sales type of environment with the main responsibility of driving revenue in support of our mission.
We offer a base salary with the potential to earn an incentive up to 25% of your base pay. The potential incentive is based on achieving certain revenue targets and triggers.

Responsibilities
- Drive, oversee, and implement Auction and Wine Auction Committees while developing relationships with key volunteers, sponsors, private wine donors, and community leaders.
- Generate revenue and lead volunteer management for the Dallas Côtes du Coeur Gala.
- Create a 12-month calendar on how to achieve procurement goal, working with the team on each milestone.
- Solicit and build out exciting high-end live and silent auction packages to increase revenue growth.
- Provide and complete concierge service for auction winners throughout the year.
- Handle and run all logistics for the auction leading up to, during, and post-event.
- Read, comprehend and analyze number goals, as well as fundraising reports.
- Conduct sales calls to generate new business and steward existing company partnerships.
- Auction procurement will include coordination of an auction preview event prior to the Gala.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- 3 years of relevant experience in fundraising, sales, or equivalent type experience.
- Ability to travel locally approximately 75% : requires access to reliable transportation at all times on an immediate basis
- Ability to lift and / or move large objects (such as boxes) with the expectation that heavier items would be broken down into smaller components or requesting additional assistance may be required before lifting and / or moving
- Must have intermediate knowledge and skill / proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferred Experience Skills
- University / College degree or equivalent experience, preferred
- Experience managing and cultivating high-level leaders at the C-Suite level.
