You will be able to solve complex problems with little supervision, allowing you to make decisions on how and when a project is completed.
- Respond and troubleshoot various types of alarms including, Temperature, humidity, air / water pressures, and water levels etc.
- Respond to emergencies such as water leaks and power issues.
- Starting / Stopping equipment such as boilers, chillers, air handlers, exhaust fans, and generators.
- You will be able to solve complex problems with little supervision, allowing you to make decisions on how and when a project is completed
- Monitor and maintain plantwide systems. Understand when an issue is occurring knowing how to resolve it.
- Must have a highschool diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Electrical and mechanical experience is a must, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; write routine reports and correspondence.
- Knowledge or experience in lubrication, pneumatics, piping / plumbing repair, HVAC fundamentals, belt replacement, electrical schematics or troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Possess a valid US driver’s license to operate motor vehicles
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs with consistency to lift 25 lbs
- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
- Ability to climb ladders and work in repetitive motions with pressure involving fingers, hands, and wrists, as well as standing or walking over hard concrete surface
