$30,000 for eligible external hires with 6+ months of experience.

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our partner medical center in Modesto, CA.

Job Summary :
The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist is responsible for providing radiological care to patients of all ages, using ionizing radiation for the diagnosis and / or treatment of anatomical and physiologic disorders.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of conventional Radiology and be proficient in operating X-ray equipment and PACS.
Responsibilities :
Perform radiological examinations as ordered by physicians, ensuring patient safety and optimal image quality.
Prepare exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications for patient procedures.
Educate patients about procedures and address any questions or concerns.
Demonstrate competency in conventional radiography and at least one other area such as CT, MRI, or Interventional Radiology (if applicable competencies are met).
Process images and ensure high-quality submission to PACS.
Participate in performance improvement activities within the department.
May be required to take the call.
Qualifications : BLS certification
BLS certification
ARRT (R) certification
CRT license
Fluoroscopy permit
