Description :

Large Format Shuttle Driver

Responsible for delivery of product to large volume customers utilizing a Box Truck. Maintain good customer relations and effective communication with team members.

What you will be doing :

• Responsible for delivery and unloading of product to customers stockrooms.
• Pick up return product and empty trays; transport and unload back at Sales Center.
• Ensure that product distribution is accomplished to customer satisfaction and communicate any customer concerns / issues to BBU manager.
• Represent BBU as a leader in the baking business.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Ability to proactively recognize and report safety issues and exhibit safe work practices.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with all associates in a team environment.
• Must be detail oriented with ability to identify shipping challenges and / or opportunities.
• Ability to attend to customers needs with courtesy and professionalism.
• Ability to work unsupervised and foster an environment that reflects the values of BBU.

Position Requirements :

What we need from you :

• 1-3 years of tractor-trailer driving experience, DSD experience is a plus.
• Must be computer literate, Hand-Held Computer (HHC) preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs overhead.
• Must be able to push / pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stack product according to sales center stacking procedures.
• Ability to work early mornings and holidays.
• Ability to work a M, T, Th, F, and Sat weekly schedule.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
