The Junior Facilities BIM Revit Modeler Drafter supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base, in Colorado.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Support the Engineering Design team on the drafting / 3D modeling efforts of new and existing building infrastructure; to include Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire systems.
• Support efforts will be in compliance with current engineering codes and principles, relevant specifications, and customer requirements.
• Update existing BIM files using Autodesk Revit software as directed.
• Gather and submit quarterly, semi-annual, and annual BIM documentation as directed
• Conduct site surveys to confirm drawing accuracy, and to make appropriate updates to reflect site conditions as required.
• Assist in the documentation of building systems upgrades, repairs, and remodeling projects
• Conduct site visits to monitor ongoing projects. Assist the Design team in documenting design changes that occur during project implementation to ensure the final "as-built" drawings incorporate design changes.
• The Modeler / Drafter will assist during project closeout by working closely with the project team members to ensure all

efforts pertaining to project design documentation are completed within project specific deadlines.

Salary : The salary range for this position is $46,600 - $71,000

Education and Experience :

• Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience : HS Diploma (or GED) and 4 years of general experience :
• Associate degree and 2 years of general experience.
• Bachelor's degree, or higher, and 0 years of general experience.
• Must have 2 years of directly related experience
• This candidate must have a basic knowledge of building infrastructure systems
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Programs
• Must be able to understand technical data
• Must have experience with 3D modeling software
• Must be able to climb ladders
• Must be able to lift 40lbs
• Must be able to work below raised floors / restrictive spaces

Desired Requirements :

• Have experience in Architectural, Structural, Mechanical and / or Electrical design for construction
• Have work experience within DOD environments
• Have experience with Autodesk drafting / modeling software. (Revit and / or AutoCAD)
• Familiarity with engineering / design codes and principles
• Have experience using computer aided drafting (CAD) and / or modeling applications

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work :

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Other Position Requirements :

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Must be able to travel, including air travel.
