Service Specialists recruiting agency is seeking a Media Strategist to join a thriving marketing agency in Ridgeland, MS.
This successful individual will research, experiment, and optimize in both the traditional and digital spaces. You will collaborate with in-house developers, designers, animators, illustrators, video producers, copywriters, and the account team to build strategies that generate results.
From negotiating rates with media outlets and vendors to presenting trends, successes, and opportunities to clients, you will be challenged to pursue what is next over what is now.

Responsibilities :
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, public relations, psychology or a related field from a four-year college or university, and / or
3+yearsofmedia marketing experience, preferably at an agency
Knowledge of traditional media markets in the Southern U.S., especially Mississippi and neighboring states
Expertise in maintaining and managing media relationships and follow-through with market sales reps, sales managers, general managers, etc.
Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret standard documents, journals, and reports
Ability to write reports, presentations, and general business correspondence
Ability to write winning strategic mixed media proposals (traditional and digital) and effectively deliver presentations to senior management, prospective clients, and existing clients
Identify media platforms and develop strategies that will improve brand visibility
Monitor and analyze the performance of media channels
Manage and oversee media budgets while identifying optimal placements to reach audiences
Collaborate with creative and account teams to ensure the alignment of media strategy with brand goals and objectives
Reconcile invoices and ensure accurate and timely billing
Ensure compliance and regulatory bodies in the industry
Oversee co-op submissions for clients
Interview and recommend digital vendors

Fluent in the SEO, SEM, and PPC arenas
GoogleAds certified
GoogleAnalytics certified
Experience managing outbound email marketing campaigns
BasicHTML / CSS / JS knowledge
Familiarity with the WordPress CMS In-house candidates are greatly preferred.
Salary : $55k-$70k
Candidates must be available to work between 8 a.m. 5 p.m. (CST).
