Now Hiring : Maintenance Director
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Director to oversee all maintenance operations at our nursing home located in Ohio.
The Maintenance Director will be responsible for ensuring the facility is safe, well-maintained, and compliant with all relevant regulations.
This position requires strong leadership abilities, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing a high standard of care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee the maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
- Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation of the facility.
- Conduct regular inspections of the nursing home to identify areas requiring maintenance or repair.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for larger maintenance projects.
- Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies, and oversee purchasing as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain records accordingly.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff, and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Budget management and cost control measures to optimize maintenance operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to support the overall mission and goals of the nursing home.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Director or similar role, preferably in a healthcare or nursing home setting.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance processes.
- Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
