HVAC / R Service Technician Opportunity

Position Overview :
As an HVAC / R Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing refrigeration, evaporative condensers, ice machines, water pumps, compressors, air handlers, electric motors, and HVAC units.
Your goal will be to return all equipment to proper operating levels with zero call backs. You will also perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal operating efficiencies and less downtime for our customers.
Key Responsibilities :
Diagnose and repair HVAC / R equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance.
Complete paperwork in a timely manner.
Travel throughout Eastern MA as needed.
Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
Must-Have Skills :
Familiarity with VRF systems and grocery store refrigeration.
EPA Type II Certification.
HVAC / R License / Certification in the State of MA.
Clean Drivers License (No records MUST).
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and professional attitude.
Ability to be on call on a rotating schedule : nights / weekends / holidays.
Understanding of the need for integrity and ethical awareness in all situations.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 3 years of experience required.
Good driving record and valid State Drivers License.
US Citizen or Permanent Resident only.
EPA Universal Certificate is a MUST.
OSHA 30 preferred.
Compensation :
Hourly Rate : $45 for 5 years of experience, $50 for 8 to 10 years of experience, $65 for more than 10 years.
