Role : Maintenance Technician
Location : Detroit MI area
Pay : $35.50 / hr (Union shop)
All Maintenance candidates will start off on 1st shift. Minimum 30 day evaluation / training period before moving to assigned shift.*
Position Overview :
Repairs and maintains mechanical and hydraulic components of production machines and equipment by performing the following duties.
Required Skills :
- Troubleshooting machines - performing repairs
- Hydraulic and electrical experience
- Have mechanics on site to perform regular maintenance
- Must be open to rotating to different shifts - everyone helps cover each other's shifts when needed (team player mentality)
Technical Skills :
- Journeyman status or equivalent required.
- Basic electrical knowledge of high and low voltage systems.
- Responsible for reading and understanding the IATF16949, ISO9001 : 2015 and ISO-14001procedures
Education and / or Experience :
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and / or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
