RemX is seeking a Field Service Technician based in the state of New York to work for a leader in pump & electric motor repairs.
$30- $36 hourly BOE - Company vehicle, uniforms & fuel card provided. Great benefits! Work for a company that VALUES it's employees!
Duties :
- Install pumps & fans according to manufacturer specifications & industry standards. (May involve setting up piping, fittings, electrical connections & other components to ensure optimal performance & safety.)
- Perform routine maintenance on pumps & fans to prevent breakdowns. (Includes inspecting components, lubricating moving parts, cleaning, replacing worn-out parts & testing for functionality.)
- Diagnose & repair malfunctioning pumps & fans promptly to minimize downtime.
- Calibrate pumps & fans to ensure accurate performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts replaced & other relevant information.
- Interact with clients in a professional manner, addressing their concerns & providing assistance as needed.
- Communicate effectively to explain technical issues, proposed solutions & maintenance schedules.
- Stay updated on advancements in pump & fan technology, repair techniques & safety practices through training programs & self-study.
Requirements :
- Ability to including lift, carry & manipulate heavy equipment & components weighing up to 75lbs
- Comfortable working in environments that may require bending, stooping, kneeling & standing for extended periods
- Capable of working in confined spaces & heights
- Strength & stamina to handle the demands of manual labor associated with pumps & fans installation, maintenance & repair activities
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions & environments
- Willingness to work overtime
- 5+ years experience working with pumps & electric motors
- Prior experience as a Field Service Technician
- Extensive experience with wastewater industry
