RV Service Technician

Optimum RV is a premier RV dealership committed to providing quality service and a wide selection of recreational vehicles.

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated RV Service Technician to join our service team and ensure our customers' RVs are maintained and repaired to the highest standards. Pay up to $40.00 / hr.

Dealership Location : 7400 U.S. Hwy 441, Ocala, FL 34480

Responsibilities :

Service Technicians are responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing maintenance on a variety of recreational vehicles.

The primary duties will include :

• Performing inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conducting pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) to ensure RVs meet quality and safety standards before delivery to customers.
• Documenting all work performed, including parts used and labor time, in the dealership's service management system.
• Communicating with service advisors and customers to provide detailed explanations of repairs and maintenance work.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry standards, manufacturer guidelines, and technical bulletins.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area and ensuring tools and equipment are in good working condition.
• Adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
• All other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications :

• Strong knowledge of RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• RVIA / RVDA certification or other relevant industry certifications (preferred)
• Experience with computerized diagnostic tools and software (preferred).
• Familiarity with warranty repair processes and documentation (preferred).
