Our client is an energy corporation. They are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join their Stamford, CT office.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with commercial trading teams to re-engineer & optimize trading processes and models
- Evolve cloud-native solutions to promote integration within the framework
- Liaise with the data science team to create next-generation analytic tools
- Expand software to support commercial activity including supply & demand, positions, and market data analysis
- Oversee problem areas and following the software development lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years of prior professional programming experience preferred
- Must understand object-oriented programming concepts
- Experience with cloud-based technologies required
- Experience with DevOps practices, including CI / CD, and infrastructure-as-code preferred
- Previous experience with Git, Containers (Docker), Kubernetes, Microservices, Spring, shell scripting, messaging busses, React, or Angular preferred
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficient in MATLAB preferred
- Knowledge of Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL preferred
- Knowledge of Python or Java required
