- Investigates crucial functions of astrocytes in sustaining BBB integrity during health and in the context of neurodegenerative diseases.
- Examines the influence of neural crest lineage on BBB characteristics and questioning whether cellular origins dictate their roles in BBB function.
- Searches groundbreaking small molecules with the potential to modulate BBB permeability.
- Contributes to a cutting-edge research environment that is dedicated to excellence and innovation in the field of neurobiology.

Bachelor’s degree in a scientific / technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and / or relevant laboratory technician or research study experience carrying out research protocols and tests, or other technical work may be substituted for the degree.
