Job Title : Sr. HR and Payroll Analyst

Location : Towson, MD (Remote)

Duration : 1 year contract

Position Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage the data conversion process from CGI to Oracle cloud systems.
  • Ensure the accurate and efficient migration of HR and Payroll data, adhering to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Provide hands-on support and expertise in HR and Payroll functionalities within both CGI and Oracle Cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with technical and functional teams to map legacy systems to Oracle Cloud, ensuring smooth integration and functionality.
  • Develop and run reconciliation reports to verify the accuracy and integrity of data extracted, transformed, and loaded during the migration process.
  • Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues, ensuring data consistency and reliability.
  • Utilize SQL and ETL processes extensively to extract, transform, and load data between systems.
  • Optimize and streamline ETL workflows to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Utilize project management tools such as JIRA to track progress, manage tasks, and collaborate with team members effectively.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, procedures, and configurations related to data conversion and system migration.
  • Conduct reverse mapping from Oracle Cloud to CGI systems as needed, ensuring compatibility and data consistency.
  • Apply data mining techniques to extract insights and identify trends within HR and Payroll data.
  • Analyze complex data structures and schemas to troubleshoot issues and propose solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including HR, Payroll, IT, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment and achieve project objectives.
  • Communicate project updates, challenges, and recommendations clearly and professionally to all relevant parties.

Must have

  • 15 years demonstrated experience in Data conversion with mandatory CGI to Oracle cloud migrations.
  • Demonstrated hands on techno-functional experience on all HR and Payroll functionalities in CGI and Mapping legacy to Oracle Cloud environment.
  • Experience running reconciliation reports on extracted, transformed, and loaded data.
  • 15 years’ experience in SQL and ETL process.
  • Experience with JIRA is essential.
  • Proficient in HDL, FBDI and Oracle table structures with reverse mapping to CGI is essential.
  • Proficient in data mining, data structures, schemas, and applicable file structures.
