Responsibilities Cedar Hills Hospital currently has an opening for a full-time Mental Health Technician - Front Desk for our Inpatient Hospital.
This position bridges healthcare services, incoming and outgoing patients, family members and vendors, and critical in ensuring smooth communication between the hospital and the front desk.

m. to 3 : 30 p.m. How you will make an impact : In this role, you will answer high-volume, multi-line phones connecting callers to the appropriate departments, greet all guests upon arrival, assist patients with check-in at the front desk, assist with managing the bed board upon patient discharges, order cabs for patients, assemble paper medical charts, perform general clerical duties such as copying, scanning, mailing and filing, assist with administrative projects for various departments as assigned, manage inventory within your team, and perform data entry.
The ideal candidate will have previous front desk / and or Mental Health Technician experience, BLS Certification, and experience working in a medical setting, and / or experience working with psychiatric and / or substance use patients.
Experience with Microsoft Suite and Google Suite strongly preferred The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical setting, and / or experience working with psychiatric and / or substance use patients.

Experience : Two years experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a health care environment and any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment.
Training : Successful completion of Crisis Management and Service Excellence training within 90 days of employment. May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.
Salary : From $20.50 per hour
