As the Inventory Manager, Americas Inventory Controls, you will be a key member of Global Supply Chain team and Americas Supply Chain team, supporting US Inventory Controls effort by facilitating both the controls design and execution.
By developing and maintaining very strong cross-functional relationships, and providing insightful solutions to control challenges, this role will facilitate and ensure difficulty in the decision making and development of a sound control environment for inventory.
What will you be doing?
- Facilitates processes to ensure all SOX Key Controls for Inventory and Field Assets are well documented, control procedures and scope are well understood by Control Owners and Internal & External Auditors, Controls are performed on a timely manner and deficiencies identified in testing are remediated on time.
- Partners with Control Owners and Internal Auditors, to craft effective controls Facilitate the standardization and simplification of controls across locations and franchises
- For areas with audit deficiencies, facilitate the establishment of procedures, as well as the execution and documentation of same to prove the existence of Inventory.
- Oversight of controls for Field inventory and Assets
- Key leader in Inventory Governance process that includes the maintenance of dashboards and scorecards to measure inventory counts & accuracy
What will you need to be successful?
- Education : Degree in Finance, Commerce or Accounting preferred but relevant business-related qualifications would be considered
- Post-graduate degree in business management / administration or equivalent is advantageous
- CPA advantageous
- 7+ year’s post-qualification experience with relevant industry experience advantageous, ideally in Medical Devices or Pharmaceuticals.
- Very hardworking individual with the ability and willingness to progress to more senior roles.
