The Philosophy Department at Iona University seeks qualified, engaged scholars to teach up to two sections of Introduction-level courses in the fall semester of 2024.

The courses are not yet finalized. The courses could be 210 (Introduction to Moral Philosophy), 215 (Matters of Life and Death), or 216 (Freedom and Morality).

While courses have specific themes, there is flexibility in terms of content, structure, and evaluation. Introduction courses are typically capped at 25 students.

Courses could potentially be scheduled back-to-back, to make teaching / commute efficient. There is a free shuttle to and from the New Rochelle Metro-North station.

AOS : open. AOC : ethics, moral philosophy required. Please submit a CV and letter of interest.

Salary Range : $1248 - $1531 per credit based on course level and qualifications
