Position : Conference Planner
Location : 1201 W La Veta Ave, Orange, CA 92868.
Contract Length : 20 weeks
Shift : 5x8 : 7 : 30 AM -4 : 00 PM

Job Summary :
The Conference Coordinator is responsible for managing assigned conferences by conveying planning expertise, building and / or enhancing relationships with CHOC providers / departments, and, meeting deadlines to ensure successful conference.
This will include consistent communication, assignment of external roles and responsibilities, and, resource / staff management to plan, produce, and debrief conferences in a manner consistent with established policies and procedures.
Required :
Minimum three (3) years of experience in educational conferences and event planning in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to implement and evaluate programs, conference planning and on-site coordination.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects. Proven ability to conduct hybrid (in-person + virtual) events.
Preferred :
4+ years in a healthcare setting with experience in educational conferences and event planning in compliance with ACCME guidelines and criteria.
Cvent / Attendee Hub proficiency.
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or a related field. Relevant years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
