Description

Music Thanatologist- Chaplaincy at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center (Full-time, Day shift, Schedule : Monday - Friday : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM)

Starting hourly rate is $27.86 / hr and increases based on your years of experience.

$5,000 hiring / sign-on bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Provides prescriptive music vigils with harp and voice, to address the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of palliative care and dying patients throughout the continuum of care.

Provides education about music-thanatology to staff and community.

Required Qualification :

Certification by MTAI (Music-Thanatology Association International) within 2 years of hire.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Associate's Degree in Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
  • 1 year Music Thanatology experience.
